For those of you scrambling to get a deer or two in their freezer before the season ends, I thought it appropriate to post some venison recipes I found in the old book. In addition, a page from the book itself, of a very simple dessert that would be a perfect end to any rustic, wild game dinner. I don’t suppose enjoying a fat glass of red wine would hurt anyone either… ~A
