Sunrise 6:42 a.m…. Sunset 8:10 p.m.
We’re approaching the last month of good weather (in my opinion). The dark days are beginning to creep in. Summer will be ending soon.
I’m in a bit of a grumpy fog today. Monday’s will do that to a person who keeps a Monday-Friday work schedule.
Things are going okay here on the farm. There is always so much to do, and most has to be done on the weekends, when there is more time. Especially when the sun begins to set earlier.
My Four O’Clocks are beautiful. I’ll plant even more of them next year. I love the Salmon color…
The four beehives are doing okay, but they aren’t making much honey. Too many rainy days. The bees don’t venture out when it rains.
I have not ridden my horses in a long, long time. This really bothers me. I’ve been lacking enthusiasm for some things lately. I blame it on world events/ politics and all the pandemic crap. Things I can’t control.
My tractor is down again. Farm tractors always seem to need something fixed – and always right when you need them for a project. I need to mow the pastures and the hay field before October. My tractor is apparently not in the mood. *sigh*
Something I keep reminding myself of lately – we’re only here on Earth for a short visit. So remember to pause, smell the flowers and admire their beauty along the way. ~A
