Yep. That is really my tree this year. As I mentioned in my last post, I found the “Charlie Brown” Christmas Tree I was hoping to find back in the woods on my farm. I had to cut the bottom ten feet off to fit in my living room, but hey – whatever. It’s Christmas 2020!
I actually like the tree. And so does my cat. Only two broken ornaments so far. He also takes great pleasure in destroying the whole baby Jesus manger set on a daily basis. That cat is a real special kind of jerk.
Snow…
We had a pretty good snow storm to kick off December and boy was it beautiful. A real shit-show to drive to work in, but beautiful nonetheless. After passing 26 cars in the ditch during my drive into the city, I finally quit counting.
Barn Maintenance…
A couple years back, I had a really big goat who took great pleasure in destroying my barn stalls. He could take an entire wall of boards out faster than a toddler playing Jenga. Thanks to this, I had two stalls that were morphed into one ginormous stall. This meant I was short a stall for pigs.
Last weekend the Farm Boy and I were able to put the missing wall back together and now I can finally go and buy some pigs to raise again. I hate buying meat from the store.
In the meantime, the bunnies are enjoying having some large new space to jump around in…
Nine more days until Christmas. Are you ready? ~A
