Ingredients
2TbspActive Dry Yeast
1Cup + 2 TbspWater
1/3CupOlive Oil
1/4CupSugar
1MedEgg
1TspSalt
3CupsAll Purpose Flour May need to add up to 1/2 cup more flour if dough is too wet.
Instructions
Dissolve yeast and warm water in a large bowl. Add oil and sugar, let stand for 5 minutes. Add the egg, salt and enough flour to form a soft dough. Mix / knead dough well to combine all ingredients.
Turn dough onto floured surface, forming it into a large ball. Dived ball into 12 pieces, shape each piece into a ball. Place each ball 3 inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cover with a bread towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 425° F. Place buns in oven and bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and let buns cool on wire racks. Slice buns in half for sandwiches or leave whole for serving as rolls.
